 Read chapters 1-5 of Sherman Alexie's novel Flight.  Here are some tips for reading: the main character travels in time AND he also appears as another person during this time travel--although he is still himself and has the awareness of himself.  While this can be disorienting, it is a part of what Alexie is doing by having this character experience the things he does.  You'll see how it all fits together in the end.  Write a one-paragraph response to Chapters 1-5 wherein you examine who the main character is and what is happening in his life.
