Museum assignment

Your research for this assignment should be completed by visiting the museum and seeing the artwork. You must pick a piece at THIS museum and prove you went otherwise you will get a zero on assignment (please submit a picture of you at the MFAH with your essay). The purpose of this assignment is for you to visit a museum and see the artwork--This is a paper about YOUR description, YOUR experience, YOUR opinions. Answer the following questions. Please number your page, type the question, then your answer; your answers for each question need to be at least one paragraph and in complete sentences.

8. Is there at cultural context or use of iconography? What iconography is used, what are the meanings? 
9. Does the Artist use any symbols? Are there symbols that are unfamiliar or familiar?
10. What do you think this artwork is about? How does it make you feel? Why did you pick it?
11. What aspects of the piece speak to you? What don’t you like or what don’t you understand?
