The next step in planning your business venture is to develop an outline of your business plan with summary paragraphs for each section. Your sections will vary depending on the type of business you are proposing; however, at a minimum you should include the following in a 2-3 page Word document:

•Executive summary

•Description of the product or service

•Discussion of the industry and market conditions

•Competition

•Marketing and sales plan

•Management team

•Basic financial analysis
