Most of us take things for granted when we speak about the planet Earth.  We take for granted that it revolves around the Sun every 365.4 days; that it rotates on it's axis every 24 hours; and that the axis is tilted 23.5 degrees.  These three facts are the basis of life on Earth as we know it.

What would life be like on Earth if one of those three changed??  For our discussion, what do you believe life on Earth would be if it rotated on its axis, not every 24 hours, but every 48 hours?  What would change?  How would it effect plant and animal life? How would the weather and climate possibly change?
