This presentation assignment is an analysis and application of a selected nursing theory of your choice. For this first assignment, you will create a slide presentation using PowerPoint or Google Slides.

Requirements:

This presentation should be in current APA format: concise bullet points, citations on the slides, and use speaker notes for narrative content. You do not need to record the presentation; therefore, the speaker notes should be substantial in content. All slides, with the exception of the title and conclusion slides, must be supported with evidence and contain citations. The presentation should be no less than 10 slides and no more than 15 slides including title and references.

The assignment requirements include that you upload a pdf of the full-text article for each listed reference.

Slide 1: Title Slide- The title of the presentation should be the name of the theory and theorist

Slide 2: Introduction slide

Slide 3: Overview of the theorist

include biographical information about the theorist

Slide 4: Overview of the theory

provide a brief definition of the theory

discuss the basic concepts and assumptions of the theory.

Slide 5- Define the four core concepts of the nursing metaparadigm as defined by the theorist. If the theorist did not define the concepts of the nursing metaparadigm in their theory, use the key concepts and assumptions and map them to the four metaparadigm pillars, explaining the rationale.

The presentation should be no less than 12 slides and no more than 15 slides including title and references.
