Lesbianism: An Act of Resistance

This paper is a 5-7 page, 12 point font, Times New Roman, Double Spaced. Scholarly Sources pertaining to the understanding of Black WOMEN resisting against society standards Of the “normal lifestyle”. Sources that discuss the issues revolves around what Black Women or any women of color go through being a Lesbian, a woman and of the inferior race. Scholarly sources from JSTOR or Proquest or EBSCO. Atleast 3 different sources that discuss the fight these women went through within their lives for standing up and being exactly who they want to be. It is important to have a main focus recognizing the connection within the sources used. 

Inital traget: Analyzs the understanding of the authority men acquire against that of women who are lesbians. Extreme focus on the resemblance on the control of sexual prefereances compared to that of the control of Blacks during the era of slavery.
