JOURNAL 8: High & Low Context Communication

Take the assessment on high context and low context communication.  After reviewing your results, watch the video that explains the differences between high context and low context communication.  Then complete Option A or Option B.

Option A: If you agree with the results of your assessment, provide an example of a situation where your style of communication was consistent with the results.  Then, describe a challenging situation you’ve encountered with a person whose communication style was different from yours.

Option B: If you disagree with the results of your assessment, provide an example of how your communication style is inconsistent with the results.  Then, describe a challenging situation you’ve encountered with a person whose communication style was different from yours.
