Chapter 3 discusses Values and the importance of clarifying your true values in career decisions.  Read through chapter 3 and review your top values from the Values Grid exercise completed in class.  What are your top  5 values emerging?  Looking at your top values, list 3 possible occupations and 3 potential academic programs that fit your values (page 55)?  Describe in details how they fit your values and what values were being reflected. 

Think of a situation when you had to make a decision that conflicted with your values.  What did you do and how did you feel?  How easy was it for you to make that decision and were you aware that values played a role in your decision making?
