Bush's purpose for giving this speech was to address the nation in a time of crisis, provide reassurance, and rally support for the actions taken in response to the 9/11 attacks. The most compelling part of the speech for me was when President Bush expressed empathy and compassion towards the victims and their families, he showed a sense of shared grief and determination to seek justice. It showed his commitment to protecting the American people and seeking accountability for the acts committed.

Bush purpose of this speech was to comfort his nation, warn the nation about the terrorist’s mission against our country, and talk about all precautions that are taken to handle the situation. Everyone must come together and do their part to stop the terrorist organization, known as the al Qaeda. Bush stated that the only way this attack will end is if it is stopped and destroyed where it grows. The most compelling part of the speech was even though the world was facing attack, all he asked from the American people was to remain calm and love on their families at this difficult time. It shows that his heart was hurting, devastated for all the tragedy taken place. I know that before this speech was given everyone was panicking and worried about what will happen, but I think after President Bush speech, it relieves a lot of stress from families. The speech was comforting and has given others confident of victory against this attack.
