Chapter 9 - Control of Global Business 

Companies practice output controls and measurement to obtain data for interest in a product. A common debate is accessing personal information, such as your Internet use and cell phone data. How often do you find an advertisement for a product you searched the day before? Do you appreciate organizations obtaining your Internet search information from Google? Explain the positive and negative actions for this situation. Remember to focus on controls and strategy in a global business. You must support your analysis from a news source, such as electronic local newspapers, New York Times, International Business Times, Economic Times, or CNN News.

Chapter 10 - The Organization of Global Business

Choose a real life example of a global organization that practices one of the following organizational structures:

• Functional
• Divisional
• Hybrid
• Matrix

Explain the pros and cons of the chosen organization using this structure in a global environment.
