Insurance

Should general contractors and subcontractors be required to carry insurance on all types and sizes of projects? Why or why not? If yes, discuss the various types of insurance that you believe should be carried. For the types that you don't feel a general or sub should carry, explain why. Can be discussed  from a legal, contractual, ethical, or social perspective or any combination of these.
