Prompt: Explain Thomas Aquinas’ and Grotius’ take on warfare. Based on their reasonings, can wars be just given the death and destruction that characterize them? Are their thoughts on warfare applicable to modern warfare? Why or why not? Give two reasons with clear real-life examples.
