Hyperkalemia Imbalance and Anticoagulants administering.

1.  Discuss the particular fluid, electrolyte, and acid-base imbalance of  Hyperkalemia . As a group, describe the imbalance, identify types of patients who are greatest risk for these imbalances, discuss specific implementations, develop related nursing prevention strategies, and factors that make it difficult to implement prevention strategies or possible nursing responses. 

 2.  Describe how antiplatelet agents, anticoagulants, low-molecular-weight heparins, thrombolytic agents, antihemophilic agents, and hemostatic agents affect blood clotting.  Then develop a table outlining the differences in nursing care for patients in the following age groups - an 8-year old, a 47-year old, and a 76-year old, all of whom are receiving anticoagulant therapy.  What are the primary nursing considerations for using an anticoagulant in each of these age groups?  What is the rationale for each nursing consideration?  Be specific for each age group.
