Training

Organizations train employees for many reasons. Some training is mandatory and other training may be optional depending upon the employee’s interests and career goals.

Primary Task Response: Within the Discussion Board area, write 400–600 words that respond to the following questions with your thoughts, ideas, and comments. 

1. Discuss the differences between mandatory and optional training topics.
2. What is the purpose of employer-provided training?
