FOUR: Coaching Styles Paper

Here is a chance to examine the contrasting coaching styles of two practicing coaches.  You will want to choose two who are fairly dissimilar in their approaches - one may be responsive to the client’s emotions, while another may prefer to remain more fact-driven.  Whatever their differences, now is the time to examine these, their strengths and weaknesses, and which parts of these styles you will wish to import into your own coaching practice.

• Write a 2-3 page paper describing the contrasting coaching styles of two practicing coaches.  Again, you will want to choose two who are fairly dissimilar in their approaches. Ensure the following points are addressed:
  
  
  • Briefly describe each coach’s approach to personal coaching.
  • Relate the values you discussed in the assignment to your view of personal coaching.
  • Discuss the ways in which these coaches’ approaches may be similar to your own views on personal coaching, and why.
