Sculpture

1. Readymades are works of art that are created by changing the purpose of an existing object. For example, Picasso used bicycle parts to create a sculptural bull’s head.
2. Try looking for 3 objects that could be repurposed into readymades, and think about what kinds of objects produce the most interesting or effective works of art.

Identify each object’s original function. Then explain, in 2-3 complete sentences, how the object can be repurposed into readymades, be specific when discussing moments, direction and perspective of the object in relationship to the viewer.
