Topic: The African American Struggle for Equality  

Thesis:  Black struggle for equality: It took almost 400 years for African Americans to achieve their freedom. Since the time 1787, and even previously, African-Americans have battled to acquire political, lawful, social, and financial equality. Some public and state government programs were built to assist African-Americans with this ceaseless issue, it is additionally the very state and public government approaches that extended this issue. Truth be told, this is as yet an issue that endures today.

Time Period:  1865-1890, 1968-present
