Western civilization (Europe and the US) owes much of its cultural, political and social heritage to the Greeks -- in particular, to the Athenians of the 5th Century BCE. That heritage -- the features, characteristics and ideas - from the ancient Greeks is what you will describe in this discussion. To be successful here, you must understand the main points of lecture topic: The Greeks and the Exploration on the Hellenization of the Western World.  Instructions Write a 150-200 word post as follows:  Choose a role in ancient Greek society (5th - 4th century BCE). Staying in character, assume that you traveled through time to the present day: what similarities to your own (now ancient) society do you note?
