Compare and contrast the evolutions of the Persian and the Roman Empires in the Classical period (»500 B.C.E. to »500 C.E.), including when and where they originated, their forms of government including how this may have changed over time, their types of interactions with specific other civilizations in Eurasia and Africa, and the names of at least two leaders of each empire including what made them notable to us two millennia later.

 

2. Compare and contrast the lives of men and women in early agricultural societies (10,000+ years ago) with the lives of men and women in the earliest “civilizations” (2,000 to 5,000 years ago). Include in your response how geography (land forms and climate) and “technology” might have impacted people differently in each time period.
