Topic for Research Paper
I would like to write about cultural disruptions as depicted in the novel “Things Fall Apart” by Chinua Achebe. I will explore cultural disruption as depicted through characters such as Nwoye, Okonkwo, Mr. Brown, Reverend James Smith, and Ezinma.
THESIS OUTLINE
This is well done. See the gradesheet to decode the comments left on the assignment.
INTRODUCTION
The only suggestion I have is to create more of a bridge and introduce your novel before the thesis. You could say something like "These historical events can all be seen coming to fruition in Chinua Achebe's Things Fall Apart." And put it right before your thesis to have a stronger bridge. See the gradesheet to decode the other comments left on the assignment.
WORKS CITED

9. What do you like best about the entire essay?
I definitely like how this paper has recent relevance to current worldly events with the discussion of cultural disruption. I can tell you are passionate about your subject and you spent a lot of time trying to develop your points. The structure is good as well.
10. What two features need the most improvement? Give some recommendations to the writer about how he or she might improve these things before the editing workshop.
I think what you struggle most with is the summary of plot events, while yes it is important that the audience know what happened in the story- it is not relevant to the point you’re trying to prove. Second, I think that some of your points definitely need more text evidence. I feel like many times when you would end your paragraph it would be a cliffhanger of the point you were making. It felt more like a conversation than a paper, if that makes sense.
TL;DR
Good:
Currently Relevant
Good Structure
Needing Improvement:
Avoid summaries.
More evidence.
