Chapter 1: Criminal Investigation: An Overview-Discussion

1. Complete a search of the Internet and list five federal agencies or even military agencies that handle criminal investigations.
2. Search out the following Web sites:
• Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System (IAFIS)
• Combined DNA Index System (CODIS)
• National Integrated Ballistic Information Network
Read the information on each site and then describe how each system works. Also explain how each system assist in a criminal investigation.
