  1. You will be choosing a health behavior that you want to change. It needs to be specific and based on what you have learned about your health habits this quarter (based on your diet record, diet analysis, physical activity assessment, healthy habits quiz etc.).  The goal can be fitness or diet related. 
  2. There are two documents attached. One is a brief excerpt of my book, that includes the sample goal writing plan activity. The other is a word document with the Goal Writing Worksheet. You will develop a goal, write a detailed plan on how you will achieve the goal, cite potential barriers, discuss how you will stay on track/stay motivated to achieve your goal and how you will reward yourself.   YOU NEED TO complete the Goal Writing Worksheet and upload it in the Assignment 6 upload link. Remember, your goal has to be S.M.A.R.T. (specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and timely).  
  3. I encourage you to do some research online on making "smart" (specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, timely) goals, identifying barriers to change, measuring your success and developing rewards. Here are a couple of sample links:
