This week we will be discussing recent events in health care politics and legislation and their impact on the management of health care organizations. As a health care manager, it will be essential for you to stay up to date on health care politics and policy. 

This is your opportunity to practice finding sources of credible and interesting information! 

Please find a recent (within the past year) news article that discusses health care politics or legislation.  Then, for your original post:

• Provide an overview of your article.
• Explain how the political action or change in legislation discussed in your article might impact the health care industry.  Be sure to describe what types of organization(s) or what group(s) of stakeholders might be impacted.
• Explain how your role as a health care manager might be impacted by the changes discussed above.  Be sure to incorporate course concepts discussed earlier in the term.
