government surveillance

 As demonstrated by your assigned reading, government surveillance is a controversial subject.  Now that you have studied the subject, take a position on the question of what is appropriate and what is inappropriate in terms of domestic surveillance.  For example, are you willing to sacrifice privacy for security? if so, when is it appropriate?  When is it inappropriate?
