1)explain civil liberties and include the example of west virginia vs. Barnette and relating it to Colin Kaepernick not standing for the pledge

2)explain civil rights and use the case loving vs. virginia and voting rights act; also relate this topic back to something that recently happened concerning civil rights.

3)Explain contributory and non-contributory welfare programs in america using the examples: social security and medicare (contributory) and food stamps, medicaid, and housing (non-contributory). Relate these topics back to something that recently happened in today's society.
