Global Health Policy Issue impacting the US
Select a Global Health Policy Issue that is also impacting the US. (Do not select the COVID pandemic). DNP leaders assess communities and work to empower community members to facilitate change by promoting equitable health care across the globe. Reflect on how global health issues are human issues that are impacted by the social determinants of health. Discuss how changing community health requires engaging the community members, business, and government stakeholders as change partners. Identify the feasibility of policy implementation based on existing capacities and paradigms.
Organize your paper in the following sections: Description of the Problem (Impact, Scope, Health & Wellness, Summary)’ Social Determinants that Impact the Problem (economic & political instability, access to quality healthcare, quality education, community & social-cultural context, neighborhood environment, summary); Strategies and Gaps, Summary of Policy Solution Option, and Conclusion.
