MEMO:  Foreign Corrupt Practices Act

This week’s study of Global Business Ethics provides a rich set of resources for any company considering global expansion.  Considering the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and selecting one country from the list provided in the week’s lesson, write a memo to the Manager of International Operations of a fictitious manufacturing company advising them on risks and guidelines for opening manufacturing operations in a selected foreign country. 

· Select the country from one of the week’s listed countries.  If Africa or Latin America are selected, you may isolate one country from the region, or address the entire area. 

· Write the memo in the attached format, addressing the requirements as spelled out in the memo example.

· Other resources are acceptable and encouraged, as long as our course material is the primary source of information.

· Citation of resources is required.

Submit the memo as an attachment to the LA for classmates comments and discussion.
