 Unit 7: Discovery Research

Introduction

Successful international collaborations with SSA require cohesion and collaboration in legal, financial, political, environmental, regulatory and compliance aspects. When these factors, including data laws and innovation (Links to an external site.), are well managed, Africa is "open for business. (Links to an external site.)" This discovery research is an opportunity to research the legal and regulatory environment in SSA.

Directions

1. Conduct a literature review and then share your discoveries in the discussion. Let the discussion scope guide  your discovery research. You are required to have at least three resources. 

2. Initial post

1. In your own words, discuss how the legal and regulatory environment can inspire economic growth and reduce unemployment rate in Sub-Saharan Africa.

2. Present a specific example of a Sub-Saharan African Country which has done well in inspiring economic growth and reducing unemployment rate.

3. Take on the role of a consultant and propose persuasive recommendations to further inspire economic growth and reduce unemployment rates.
