As you read in chapter seven, the approach for writing a historical research paper differs from a traditional research paper, especially when it comes to the introduction.  

Using a historical topic of your choosing, write an appropriate 200-word introduction, using background information supported by scholarly sources, for a historical research paper. 

Your essay should strictly follow APA formatting, citation, and style guidelines.
