Instructions: Write an essay that describes the mission, organizational structure, and the major programs of the U.S. EPA. In describing the mission of the agency, include a brief discussion of its origins, i.e., why did Congress create this agency. Also, visit the Council of Environmental Quality website, and explain its role in the Federal environmental arena. Be sure to identify your sources to receive full credit for your work. The essay should be at least 300 to 350 words in length (excluding references), double-spaced using 12 point font. Include citations and references in accordance with APA guidelines.
