 Carefully craft responses to two of the following prompts. Your responses may follow any format (MLA, Chicago, etc.) and should include quotations directly from the relevant texts as well as cited references to specific moments in the texts. Each response should be roughly 750 words (longer is fine). 

1. Choose a character from one of the texts we have read so far. Would Aristotle find this character to be virtuous? Not virtuous? Virtuous in some ways but not in others? 

2. Choose a modern public figure (anyone who is still alive and who is famous at least in some circles). Is that person virtuous, according to Aristotle’s way of thinking?
