"I Wandered Lonely As A Cloud" by William Wordsworth expresses many different metaphor and symbols, such as line 1 through 3 " I wandered lonely as a cloud,That floats on high o'er vales and hills, When all at once I saw a crowd." I believe William is expressing feeling loneliest even when there is many individuals around, just floating effortlessly through the crowd only concentrating on oneself. One of the key metaphors that William tries to express is a line 4 through 8  A host, of golden daffodils;Beside the lake, beneath the trees, Fluttering and dancing in the breeze, Continuous as the stars that shine And twinkle on the milky way" stating that the  daffodils have a continuous beauty as the starts in the night sky. William also seems to express a great love for nature. Williams main theme of this poem is nature that he uses to express the beauty in life and his own self. Using the daffodils as a theme throughout the poem to show endless beauty and peace.
