The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen is not really an adaptation. I would call it a pastiche of late Victorian adventure tales. Others have called it steampunk or alternate history. Using the information and concepts in the Kukkonen chapter and the powerpoint on Adaptation Theory, discuss the ways in which League is similar to and different from adaptation.
