As the clinical chemistry supervisor, you are reviewing two analyzers. In order to compare the reproducibilities of these instruments, you run patient samples for glucose on each instrument. Using the following data, determine which instrument shows the greatest precision. Be sure to describe:
- Explain the reasoning for the significance test used.
- State null hypothesis, each formula used, and all the calculations throughout the process.
- Report the test statistic, degrees of freedom, and the critical value.
- Decide on whether there is a statistically significant difference in precision at the p=0.05 and p=0.01.
- Review the answers of at least one other student, Comment on any errors or misinterpretations.
