 This week I would like you to read the following article from Inside Higher Education that was published this morning (2/4/2019). While you have already produced a resume and cover letter, I want you to think about how you can augment your letter using this advice.   https://www.insidehighered.com/news/2019/02/04/colleges-experiment-experiential-transcripts  This week's response:  In 200-250 words, I would like you to propose something similar to what WMU is doing. What could MSU Texas offer that would help you become more engaged outside of the classroom? How might our university better prepare students for the job market by offering more opportunities?  How might you better embed yourself into the culture of the type of workplace you are wanting to enter? Try not to respond to this with "I agree with X that Y is important." Think more analytically about these questions. Provide an answer that is thoughtful and does more than agree with what is stated in the article. (That's seriously boring to read.) Frame your answer by starting with how you might solve the issue, describe your idea, and why it is viable.
