• Final Essay due Thursday of WEEK 4 (This would be a good choice for your LiveText submission)
• The Final Essay will be typed, double-spaced in size 12 type, Times New Roman . The Essay will begin with The Question copied at the top of the paper and one line giving the name of the student and the date. Then pick out the main points in the statement/question for discussion below and write to each of those points in your answer. The rubric for assessing the final essay is also below the question.  A minimum of seven paragraphs to address the topics is expected.
• Question: “How does world literature give meaning and purpose to human life? Show your understanding of ways that reveal how artistic imagination can expand our vision of the future through the readings in this course and how reading this world literature provides a moral and social and multi-cultural education. Reading world literature also can help to disclose the inner workings of society and give international perspectives, insights, and examples in world literature. These are the key focus and objectives of the readings in this course.  Address the points in general and with specific reference when possible to selections that are significant in your judgment in achieving these goals.”
