Endotracheal Suctioning and Oral care in COVID patients

In nursing practice, the use of  ventilation associated procedures such as endotracheal suctioning and frequent oral care is frequently provided for COVID-19. How do you know that the way you perform the skill is correct? How well does it work? Is there evidence to support it? Have you changed the way you do this skill over time? If so, why?
