Elderly people
A very popular Beatles tune called When I’m Sixty-Four addresses some of the challenges elderly people face: will you still feed me; will you still need; when I’m 64. The text book goes a step further and talks about the challenges that the elderly face by highlighting ageism, stereotyping, and prejudice. Given all this, some people still believe that the elderly receive too much money. What are your thoughts on the following three questions: What challenges do the elderly face today? Is the country doing enough for elderly? What more should or could be done? Be sure to properly cite summarized information from the course text - including specific page numbers for your in-text citations. Be sure to respond thoughtfully to at least one classmate as well.
