I plan to pursue a career in Human Resource Management, even if it means starting from the bottom just to get my foot in the door. I am determined to start a career in something I am interested in.  The process of goal-setting and monitoring is very much one of “beginning with the end in mind” ( O’Neil, J e.g, 2006).  There must be some kind of determination to know that you will reach your career goal and that it will just take some time and effort.

S specific: I would like to use my degree to become a Human Resource Manager/Specialist of a small organization.

M measurable:  Once I complete my degree, I will be one step closer. I will need to update my resume and gain more hands-on experience in the field.  

A attainable: Yes, this is very realistic.

R result-committed: Yes, I am willing to do what it takes to achieve my goal.

T time target: December 31, 2020
