Discussion response

Write a one page response to the in-class video we saw of Lotam Baba, the "Rolling Saint".  How does his behavior demonstrate how Saddhus (holy men) transcend social and ritual structures in Hindu tradition?  How does his behavior simultaneously reinforce those structures?  What do you think is the significance of his decision ton "roll" to the pilgrimage site?
