Discussion: Juveniles in the News

It is important to note that there are significant developmental differences between adults and children regarding their cognitive, emotional, physical, and psychological functioning. Helping professionals working in the community can play a major role in promoting awareness of these and other critical developmental differences between children, adolescents, and adults.
