In  chapter 15 you read that some of the leading peer-reviewed journals  have a rejection rate of over 90%. Why do you believe the rejection  rates are so high? Should it be so difficult for a researcher to get an  article published?

Consider  academic papers you have written in the past. What did you struggle  with most in the writing process? Do some of the practices discussed in  chapter 15 seem feasible and helpful?
