suprem court
The United States Supreme Court stands as the highest court in the land. The sitting justices consistently hear and review arguments concerning constitutional-level questions. After completing the weekly readings and developing an understanding of court structure and process, access the OYEZ-U.S. Supreme Court Media website (http://www.oyez.org/ (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site.). Note: you may also use any other valid sources necessary to research your response. Research and review a case of interest that is being reviewed by the court. Use the video, audio, and file search functions to gain a full understanding of the issue being reviewed. From the review, develop and present a sound argument that supports or rejects the claims in the case and discuss this with the other members of the class. Your argument must be based firmly on common sense and academic argument using the evidence found.
