In the 1990s, Newt Gingrich vowed to restore "traditional American values," (i.e., to return the nation to traditional positions with respect to the morality of social services, compensatory strategies, the nature of social obligation, and policy roles of the federal government).  Choose a social issue or problem that interests you and (1) state what Gingrich's actual (or likely) position would be and (2) state whether you agree or disagree with Gingrich's actual (or likely) position and WHY.

The initial post should be at least 9 good-quality sentences.  Sentences such as “I agree, I completely agree” will not be counted as good-quality sentences because it does not demonstrate your understanding of the reading or critical thinking about the posts that you read.
