Discussion 1-1 Judicial Admin

The officials in the legislative (Congress) and executive (presidential) branches of the United States federal government are elected. But the officials in the third branch of government, the judiciary, are appointed. In your initial post, state whether you believe federal judges should be appointed or elected. Support your position by referencing the qualifications and duties of federal judges described in your textbook reading.

Respond to the posts of students who took the contrary position. Referencing the duties of federal judges, attempt to persuade the other students that your position creates a more effective, efficient court administration.
