After watching the video and reading Chapter 5 answer the following discussion question.

As the average age of many skilled trade employees grows, the coming demand for skilled workers in may trades is expected to outstrip supply in the United States.  There is a potential for employers in some areas to experience a labor shortage because of this.  How can HR prepare for this reality?  What should be done now to avoid the shortage?

Example of a participation post;  Jennifer, I  believe employee training programs should be evaluated on a regular basis to make sure employees are given the needed information to help an organization be successful.   I currently work for ABC organization and an outside evaluation company audits our training program annually to make sure the employee training meets the needs of our organization.
