1) Take a look at Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa on D2L. Try to analyze the painting using C.R.A.P. (Do the website analysis first, so that you know what C.R.A.P. is.)

2) Go through the three steps of argumentation (What? Why? So?) on a specific aspect of the painting. Next, use this process to craft a thesis statement that you could expand into an essay.

3) In a paragraph or two, create a narrative for the painting based on its elements, attributes, perspective, etc.
