Critical Analysis Unit 2 Essay

1) Look over the sources you've collected so far, and choose one that you'd like to write about. Then, write a one-paragraph proposal for your Unit II Essay. In this proposal, you should identify the source you’ve chosen to write about, explain why you’ve chosen to write about it, and choose your analytical framework (rhetorical appeals, rhetorical situation, etc.)

2)Write a thesis statement for your Unit II essay. Remember that this should include an identification of the text's argument, the strategies/appeals you want to focus on, and an evaluation of the text's success. Then, compile a list of the evidence (quote, excerpts, etc.) that you will use in your Unit II essay to support your analysis and evaluation.

3)Write an introduction for your Unit II essay, as well as one body paragraph.

Essay prompt is attached and you may pick any source from annotated bibliography. This essay is due Tuesday, April 28.
