Criminology-Social class, crime, and social control

 

In the social structure theories, it identifies that different social classes vary in the fact that they do not have access to the same resources that society has to offer. Do government programs help improve these social classes? (provide jobs, food, housing). Is it realistic to believe the government programs can support or budget for these programs? Does society believe that the government is meant to provide social programs and assistance to those "social" classes in need?
