Business decisions are important due to making sure there are enough supplies for the demand, the price is reasonable, making sure that the business is keeping up with the competition, and also taking care of its employees. This course has taught me the backbone of the business side of what and how things need to be done. Once this class is over, then what? When needing to reference back, we can always come back to our discussion posts and whatever else we have saved. This is also a good point to find continuing education for the subjects we need a refresher on or want to dig deeper into. Continuing education is also important to keep up with the changes happening in society. According to Rubik and Neal (2010), “Because business owners are generally aware of the importance of their operating (line) activities and because, by necessity, they maintain their proficiency in these activities through additional training and education” (Rubik & Neal, 2010, p. 39).

In Romans 12:2 states, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect” (The Jeremiah Study Bible, 2003). As Christians, we should strive to be the best we can and do the best for the people we serve. In healthcare, there are times when things can be done better for us an employee and for the patients. According to Stevenson (2021), “Quality refers to the ability of a product or service to consistently meet or exceed customer requirements or expectations” (Stevenson, 2021, p. 208). Doing research and keeping up to date on technological advances and practices is important to make sure the healthcare organization is doing what's best for the patients and employees, while also keeping up with the competition. In Colossians 3:23 states, “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men” (The Jeremiah Study Bible, 2003). No matter what we do in life, we need to work for God and do our best for Him and His works.
